Why would it be necessary for you to have endurance?
Endurance in the dictionary means the measure of a person’s stamina or persistence.
Ability to endure hardship and stress.
It also means a state of surviving.

Endurance is needed because without it, our problems and trials would have ended our lives. Endurance shows how long we can stand the times of trial.
Biblically speaking, we can rejoice anytime we encounter a problem or face trials, it is from this we learn to endure. (Romans chapter 5:2-3)
We don’t see the time of trials and problems as good times, but it is important we know that these times aren’t useless in our lives. It is that time we learn endurance.
The 6 Reasons why you need Endurance

- 1. Endurance develops strength for you in time of problems and trials.
- 2. Endurance is persevering in times and in the face of trial. When trouble comes, endurance ensures you don’t wallow in your sorrow but always praise God.
- 3.Endurance makes us see good in any problem we encounter, and this is where the strength comes from in our character. We are supposed to learn from our mistakes, and when we do, we become stronger.
- 4. Another version of Romans 5:4 (AMP) says that endurance, also known as fortitude is, and it develops the maturity of our character. This can’t be far from the truth as I have experienced it myself, and here our elders boast of experience because endurance has developed their maturity over time in the face of the problems and trials they face.
- 5. Endurances also bring God’s approval. It shows you aren’t a weakling that would go into hiding anytime you see a problem.
- 6. Another version of that same verse says endurance produces character. Not just any character but a good and strong one. Endurance does a lot of things in the life of a Christian.
Rewards of Endurance – what will endurance do to your character?
- Your character becomes hopeful, and hope is the spine in our faith.
- Your character has God’s approval, which gives us hope in Christ.
- Your character becomes more confident and joyful. No more selfish or humanistic character in you. God takes control through your endurance which has given his approval.
- You have the hope of eternal salvation.
- You have an expectation of salvation.
- Your expectations will not fail because God loves us and has given us the holy spirit to fill our hearts with his love.
- Your character gets approved by God.
